Joyce Lee is a photographer and director based in Los Angeles. She received her B.F.A. in Photography from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. After graduating, Joyce was selected as a finalist at the Hyères Festival of Fashion & Photography, a competition which recognizes emerging voices in contemporary photography in the South of France.
Since then, she has continued to develop her dynamic use of color, light, and thoughtful composition that has caught the attention of clients ranging from Hermès to The New York Times to Google. With a focus on narrative and realism in still life photography, Joyce’s work aims to blur the line between found and created moments.
Her first short-length film, Map of the Stars was an Official Selection at the 2025 Beverly Hills Film Festival, the Pasadena International Film Festival and the DisOrient Asian American Film Festival.
